Headstocks


 Time for slotted headstocks! I always liked the look of the old vintage martins with their slotted pegheads. Therefore I will of course feature them on some of my guitars, although they are not vintage related. These headstocks are timeless classics; they always add a cool artistic touch.
Here are some pictures of the last batch I made for the next guitars. The last one is for a fan fret guitar and I thought it would look quite interesting if the fan would continue on the headstock shape. Really like it so far!

    Die Fensterköpfe sehen ja super aus.... auch und vor allem der fanned fret.. erinnert mich an den Kopf meiner Loef...und der ist auch sehr gelungen...:) .weißt Du schon mehr über die neue fächerbundierte? :) Neugier siegt...;)

    Hehe, danke Jo! Die neue Fächerbundierte wird eine Fichte/Ahorn mit klassichem Korpus und 650 mm auf 630 mm Mensur. Eine Steelstring mit klassischer Korpusform wollte ich schon lange mal machen. Außerdem soll sie auch ein elevated fingerboard/negativer Halswinkel bekommen, wie die Bariton. Bei Loef hab ich mitlerweile schon ein bisschen gestöbert, der macht sehr schöne vintage angehauchte Sachen, gefällt mit echt gut, ich hoffe es ergibt sich mal die Gelegenheit deine zu hören! Ich hab übrigens auch schon die Walnuss für deine Gitarre... ;-) ...

    Das klingt alles sehr interessant... :) sag mal Bescheid, wenn die neue fertig ist... dann kann ich auch mal das Walnuss anschauen und die Loef mitbrbingen ;)
