The "edge"

I challenged myself with the idea of making a bevel/armrest on one of my upcoming builds. It is my SJ body size which is a little bit wider than the typical OM would be plus deeper sides and therefore it made sense to add some comfort to it. But my idea was to make it small. Like small enough so I wouldn't need any additional kerfing or structure within the body to support it.
My usual kerfing for the top/side joint consists of small wooden blocks called "peones". These are 5 mm in width and so I figured this will leave me 3mm of extra space to use for a second inner "binding". The binding itself being 2 mm thick this gives me 5 mm of binding and that is plenty of room for a very comfortable "edge".
